HOW DO I BECOME A PROFESSIONAL WEDDING PLANNER?!

We found the answers, worked hard and now live our dream creating and planning amazing weddings across the UK for couples all around the world. Our experience as professional wedding planners, we like to think, more than qualifies us to answer your question of how do you become a wedding planner like us?!

First things first. Experience is key. For both of us, we made sure we got a broad range of experiences in the wedding industry before taking the plunge. As a result, we have both worked with caterers, photographers and wedding venues of varying descriptions before arriving at our calling: independent wedding planning.

For over a decade we have worked in this industry with many hats on. But our favourite by far is the one we wear now, directors and head wedding planners of VC Event Curation! It’s our years of experience that led us to want to help others join this awesome industry - all those brilliant folk that like you are asking “how do I do THAT, how do I become a wedding planner”. So first we launched our Academy to give all those people some support for free, offering advice and work experience.

After a few years of working hard with members of the Academy, we decided we wanted to go one step further so we curated a 10 month training course called Wedding Planning Perfection. The course was originally going to be a short term training programme, but we soon realised we just had too much to share! SO, we developed it into the 10 month, 10 module course that it is today, that teaches you not only how to plan weddings professionally but also how to set up your own business.

You get us on tap during that time, live training, downloadable workbooks, a private group to share with the other students in your class and with us. Plus we often throw in some awesome bonuses, completely free, on the side! There is a catch though, we only run this course at limited times. The last being in 2021.
