Wedding Venues - Our Top Three Suffolk Wedding Venues
We are lucky enough to work in some spectacular wedding venues across the UK, so we thought it was about time that we shone a light on some of our favourites! Starting with three amazing Suffolk wedding venues.
When we decided to create a blog series on our favourite wedding venues, county by county, we thought our home county of Suffolk would be a pretty excellent place to start, albeit a tough task to narrow our list down to just three!
Suffolk has an abundance of outstanding locations to host your wedding. Beautiful barn venues, country house venues, even woodlands; the options are vast, but we’ve decided to focus on some truly breathtaking country house style venues from different corners of this lovely county…
HENGRAVE HALL, BURY ST EDMUNDS
Close to home and close to our hearts. Hengrave Hall is a stunning Suffolk wedding venue, the Tudor mansion is elegant, charming and exclusively yours on your wedding day. Manicured lawns, grand halls, chamber rooms for you and your guests, while having room enough for you to add your own personal style, we just adore working at Hengrave Hall.
We like exploring all styles with our couples, but it has to be said that Hengrave Hall is such a perfect setting for a romantic, timelessly elegant weddings.
Known for a ‘luxury rural aesthetic’, Wilderness Reserve provides you with a 5000 acre wedding playground. It’s a dream. Stunning architecture paired with exquisite Suffolk landscapes. It is a truly magical setting for a wedding, you can emulate an al fresco Tuscan reception between the Orangery and courtyard, star light the trees, host marquee celebrations or move away from the manor house to their barn venue; Chapel Barn Estate.
Our creative couples will adore the bountiful options Widerness provides. We can design into the space with you at the centre, creating something authentically you.

BUTLEY PRIORY, WOODBRIDGE
Butley Priory is a wedding venue that genuinely offers something different. It’s our favourite spot for an intimate wedding and is steeped is the most unusual history. The house is enchanting, quirky and oh so romantic for a wedding. Historically the house was a 12th Century monastery and now becomes a totally unique space for a celebration, complete with secret bar and rooms tucked around corners and along corridors you wouldn’t have guessed existed!
With charming bedrooms for guests to stay, you can take the whole house for a weekend of celebrations with friends and family. Bigger receptions can take place in a marquee in the gardens, but we think the real charm in this stunning country house venue is the intimacy.
